Data Deletion
Effective date:May 22, 2026 · Applies to all BurstWriter users
1. Introduction
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data held by BurstWriter, operated by Tastic Consumer Brands LLC. This page explains your options: disconnecting individual integrations (self-serve, instant) or requesting full account deletion (processed within 30 days). Both paths are fully supported and available at any time.
Option 1 — Disconnect an Integration (Self-Serve)
If you want to remove credentials for a specific connected platform without deleting your account, you can do so instantly from your dashboard settings. When you disconnect a platform, its credentials are immediately and permanently removed from our systems.
Visit Settings → Integrationsand click “Disconnect” next to any of the following:
WordPress
Removes your WordPress application password. BurstWriter will no longer be able to publish to your WordPress site.
Wix
Removes your Wix API key. BurstWriter will no longer be able to publish to your Wix site.
Google Search Console
Revokes OAuth access (webmasters.readonly scope). Your GSC performance data will no longer sync to BurstWriter.
SocialBurst
Removes your SocialBurst API key. BurstWriter will no longer send articles to SocialBurst for social distribution.
Option 2 — Delete Your Entire BurstWriter Account
To permanently delete your BurstWriter account and all associated data, submit the form below or email tasticconsumerbrands@gmail.com. You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking code, and deletion will be completed within 30 days.
What Is Deleted
A full account deletion permanently removes all of the following data associated with your account:
- Your profile (name, email, agency name, brand settings)
- All websites and connected site configurations
- All articles, topic queues, scheduled articles, and AI decisions
- All integration credentials (WordPress, Wix, Google, SocialBurst)
- Google Search Console connections and cached SEO data
- Wix connections and publish logs
- Autopilot settings and brand preferences
- Product links, redirect links, and click tracking data
- Client onboarding tokens and publishing setup tokens
- Agency client records, agency payment history, and agency billing data
- Site intelligence and keyword data
- User plan records and subscription associations
- Your authentication account (email, password hash, login history)
What We Keep
After account deletion, we may retain the following data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Financial records — transaction history, invoices, and billing records as required by U.S. tax law (up to 7 years)
- Legal records — any records required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or dispute resolution
- Deletion request record — we retain your email address and the confirmation code in our deletion audit log to document compliance with your request
Third-Party Processor Data
Deleting your BurstWriter account removes your data from our systems. Data held by third-party processors is handled per their respective policies:
- Stripe — retains billing and transaction records per their data retention policy and applicable law
- Supabase — your database records are deleted; Supabase infrastructure logs may be retained per their policy
- Resend — email delivery logs retained per their policy
- Vercel — server request logs may be retained briefly per their policy
- Anthropic / OpenAI — API usage logs retained per their policies; your content is not used for training
Timeline
- Immediately — you receive a confirmation email with your tracking code
- Within 30 days — your data is permanently deleted from BurstWriter systems
- Upon completion — you receive a second email confirming deletion is complete
You can check your deletion status at any time using the tracking code from your confirmation email at burstwriter.ai/data-deletion-status.
