BurstWriter is operated by Tastic Consumer Brands LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a company based in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use BurstWriter at https://burstwriter.ai.
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use BurstWriter.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. Agency users additionally provide an agency name and may invite client users.
Integration Credentials
To publish and distribute content on your behalf, we store credentials for the platforms you connect: WordPress application passwords, Wix API keys, Google Search Console OAuth tokens, and SocialBurst API keys. All credentials are encrypted at rest using an application-level encryption key.
Content Data
We store blog posts, articles, AI-generated content, brand settings (voice, tone, style guidelines), topic preferences, and SEO keywords that you provide or that are generated on your behalf.
Usage Data
We collect login timestamps, articles published, publishing status logs, and click-through performance data via our /r redirect system. No third-party advertising trackers are used.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or sensitive financial details. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your plan.
Agency Client Data
If you are an agency user, we store information about your clients including client names, email addresses, website URLs, and billing records associated with your agency account.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Authenticate your account and maintain your session
- Generate AI-powered blog content using Anthropic Claude and OpenAI on your behalf
- Publish content to your connected websites (WordPress, Wix, and others) as instructed
- Sync content to SocialBurst for social media distribution when configured
- Provide SEO insights and performance data via your Google Search Console integration
- Track click-through performance on articles you publish
- Send transactional emails: billing confirmations, password resets, and publishing alerts
- Operate and improve the BurstWriter service
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your information to third parties.
4. Third-Party Integrations
BurstWriter connects to third-party platforms on your explicit instruction. Here is how each integration works:

We never modify data on your connected platforms without your explicit instruction through the BurstWriter interface.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Data is hosted on Supabase with encryption at rest and row-level security policies on all user-scoped tables.
- OAuth tokens and API credentials are encrypted at the application layer using a server-side encryption key before being stored.
- All communication between your browser, BurstWriter, and third-party services is transmitted over HTTPS.
- We apply industry-standard security practices and review them regularly.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at tasticconsumerbrands@gmail.com.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following processors, and only as necessary to operate the service:
- Supabase — database hosting and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery
- Anthropic — AI content generation (Claude API)
- OpenAI — AI content generation (GPT API)
- Google — Search Console data access (when you connect GSC)
- Unsplash — stock image sourcing for articles
We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.
7. Your Rights
You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — update inaccurate or incomplete information via your account settings
- Deletion — request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
- Disconnection — remove any third-party integration at any time from your dashboard settings; credentials are immediately revoked and deleted
- Data export — request an export of your data by contacting us
- Opt-out — unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time

8. Data Deletion
Disconnect an integration: Visit Settings and remove any connected platform. The associated credentials are immediately revoked and permanently deleted from our systems.
Delete your account: Email tasticconsumerbrands@gmail.com with your request. We will permanently delete your account, content, and all associated data within 30 days. Some data may be retained for legal or compliance obligations.

9. Cookies and Tracking
BurstWriter uses essential cookies only— cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics scripts.
We operate a first-party click-tracking system via /r redirect links. This system logs click events for articles published through BurstWriter so you can measure content performance. No data from this system is shared with third parties.
10. Children’s Privacy
BurstWriter is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. 11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
For material changes that significantly affect how we handle your data, we will notify active users by email. Continued use of BurstWriter after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
