BurstWriter defaults to Draft for safety — nothing goes live automatically until you explicitly opt in. Two settings control this: the per-schedule "Publish as" option, and the website’s publish mode, which acts as a hard ceiling.
Even if a schedule is set to Live, articles stay drafts until the website itself is set to allow live publishing and (for agency clients) the site identity has been confirmed. This prevents an unreviewed or mis-identified site from publishing live by accident.
