Canonical URL enforcement

What it is: canonical URL enforcement means BurstWriter sets the canonical tag of every article to the article’s own published address at publish time — using your CMS’s SEO tools (Yoast/RankMath on WordPress, Wix SEO on Wix) where available.

Why it matters: tracking codes, URL parameters, and staging mirrors can create duplicate copies of the same article. Enforcing a single canonical address tells search engines which one counts, so ranking signals are never split and you avoid duplicate-content dilution.

Goal: each article concentrates all of its ranking power on one authoritative URL, automatically.
