Declining content
What it is: declining content is an article whose Google clicks are dropping — BurstWriter flags pages down more than 30% in the last 7 days versus the prior 21. Content naturally decays as facts age and competitors publish fresher material.
Why it matters: a declining article is leaking traffic you already earned. Caught early, a refresh usually recovers the rankings; left alone, the decline compounds.
Goal: spot decay the moment it starts and refresh the article to win the traffic back.
