What it is: Performance Trends charts your recent trajectory from Google Search Console — weekly clicks, your top-performing articles, and the week-over-week change — so you see the direction of travel, not just today’s snapshot.

Why it matters: a single day tells you little; the trend tells you whether your content engine is compounding or stalling. A rising or falling week-over-week line is an early signal to act on while you still can.
