Publish mode (Draft / Live)

Publish mode is a per-site setting — Draft or Live — that acts as the hard ceiling for publishing. Even if a schedule asks to publish live, articles stay drafts unless the site’s publish mode allows live and (for agency clients) the identity is confirmed.

It is the main safety control that prevents anything going public before you are ready.
