CPC (cost per click)
What it is: CPC is the average price advertisers pay for one click on a keyword in Google Ads. It’s a proxy for commercial intent — high-CPC keywords are ones businesses pay to be seen for.
Why it matters: a high CPC means the keyword tends to attract buyers, not just browsers. Ranking organically for high-CPC terms earns the same valuable traffic without paying per click.
Goal: spot commercially valuable topics where organic ranking is worth the effort.
