Domain intersection

What it is: domain intersection is the overlap between the keywords your site ranks for and those another site ranks for. A large intersection means you’re chasing the same audience; BurstWriter uses the size of that overlap to rank how relevant each competitor is.

Why it matters: the bigger the intersection, the more genuinely a site competes with you — and the more its non-overlapping keywords (the ones only they rank for) represent real gaps you can target.

Goal: measure how closely a site competes with you, and mine the non-overlap for opportunities.
