Service schema

What it is: Service schema labels the page's business as a service provider and lists the areas it serves (areaServed) — the counties and cities on file — in the format search and AI engines read. BurstWriter adds it automatically when a client's Business Type is Service and a service area (counties or a primary city) is set.

Why it matters: it tells Google and AI answer engines exactly where the business operates, helping it rank for service-area and “near me” searches across all the places it actually serves.

Goal: a service business shows up for the local searches that bring in customers — accurately, across its whole service area.
